re " did previous generations feel the weight of our interconnectedness? " I am quite certain that they did not. I'll be 75 this year and I'm pretty darn sure that no kid in my class - save myself- cut school to watch the McCarthy trials on TV. You had to go out of your way to even hear about information like that.

Being hyper-sensitive it probably wasn't the best idea for me but it certainly added to my 'abilities'. I can't even imagine what it like for hyper-sensitive kids and little empaths to bear this current informational burden.

I worry about my daughter for that exact same reason. Even though she’s 5, she’s very much a little empath. Even if she isn’t aware of this interconnectedness directly, she feels our anxiety about it. Maybe we need to actively take time to disconnect to deal with angst. Thanks for your comment!
